Acceptance

By accessing or using TeachingTide, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, your school or institution.

Service description

TeachingTide is a school operating system that supports staff appraisal, performance management, CPD tracking, evidence handling, and related school administration workflows.

Use of the service

  • Schools and institutions must use TeachingTide in line with applicable law and internal policy.
  • Users must protect account credentials and use the service only for authorised school purposes.
  • Misuse, unauthorised access attempts, and service disruption are prohibited.

School obligations

  • Schools are responsible for the lawfulness, accuracy, and governance of the staff data they manage in the service.
  • Schools are responsible for assigning appropriate user roles and limiting access to confidential records.
  • Schools remain responsible for their own employment, safeguarding, and data-retention decisions.

Data protection roles

Schools and institutions are typically the data controllers for staff data that they upload to or manage in TeachingTide. TeachingTide, operated by AGBMP in St. Gallen, Switzerland, generally acts as a processor for that school-managed staff data where applicable.

Availability and liability

TeachingTide aims to provide a reliable service, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TeachingTide is provided on an as-is basis and AGBMP is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the service.

Termination and intellectual property

Access may be suspended or terminated for breach, security risk, non-payment, or account closure. TEACHINGTIDE is a trademark of AGBMP, filed with IGE Switzerland on 22 March 2026.
